Attestation of Documents

Procedure for attestation and revised rates (w.e.f April 2015)

Most Common documents and their revised fee (non-refundable) is as follow

i) Attestation of Birth Certificate issued from Pakistan €17/-
ii) Attestation of Marriage Certificate €17/-
iii) Child Registration €17/-
iv) Attestation Power of Attorney/Affidavit €40/-
v) Attestation Pension Papers, Succession Certificate, etc. €11/-
vi) Attestation of Degrees/Diploma €17/-
vii) Education certificate excluding Degrees/Diploma €17/-
viii) Attestation of Character Certificate €11/-
ix) A certificate of Name, Family Name & Birth in German €17/-
x) Commercial documents €40/-
xi) Death Certificate €17/-
xii) Passport attestation fee. €17/-

Note: (Plus 1,00 Euro as bank charges if paid by debit card in the consulate)

For attestation of all documents issued from Pakistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan’s prior attestation is mandatory before getting these attested from this Mission. Likewise, all documents issued from other countries should bear the attestation of the Pakistani Mission in that country.

All German originated/issued documents must be attested from concerned district court (Landgericht) before attestation from this consulate.

All commercial documents issued by German entities should be attested first by the relevant district court (Landgericht). Such attestations must be submitted in person or by post only with an official letter of the company in English language addressed to this consulate requesting for attestation, along with the copy of the passport/German ID card of the signatory of the letter. A photocopied set of all documents must also be submitted.
