On the occasion of Pakistan Day, a flag hosting
ceremony was held at the premises of the Consulate General on 23 March
2011. The ceremony commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran. Messages
of the President and the Prime Minister to the nation were read out to the
audience. The Consul General also addressed the community and apprised them
of the Government efforts to steer the country out of the prevailing
challenges in and around Pakistan.
He also highlighted the Consulate General’s efforts for facilitating
the Pakistani community for their consular matters. The ceremony was
attended by a large number of Pakistani community members, including women
and children.
